Almeida’s Summer Services

Our Summer Services focus on keeping your lawn and landscape healthy, neat, and vibrant during peak growing months. We provide weekly or bi-weekly lawn care, mulch installation, pruning and trimming of shrubs and hedges, fertilization and weed control programs, and ongoing property maintenance. With professional equipment and experienced crews, we ensure your property stays lush, clean, and well-maintained all summer long.

Weekly, Bi-Weekly Lawn Care

Ensures an even clean cut and optimizes the health of your lawn…. Our commercial grade mulching mowers have an additional blade that chops the grass into fine clippings before releasing them back onto the ground.

Service includes up to 26-30 weeks with optional mid-November cut. Includes cutting, edging, and clean up – choose biweekly or weekly.

Mulch Installation

When your garden and plants are in need of some enhancements, it’s time to call Almeida’s for your next mulch installation. By leaving your garden un-mulched, you actually end up spending more time watering, pulling weeds, and fighting pest and disease problems. Mulch is used to retain moisture in the soil, suppress the weeds, keep the soil cool, prevent frost heaving in winter, and make the garden bed look more attractive.

Service includes mulching of all landscape beds and providing a fresh 2” layer of premium colored mulch and landscaping fabric to control weeds from your mulch beds – choose colored mulch Black, Brown, Red Cedar, Bark.

Lawn Fertilizing

Fertilizers are organic or inorganic materials that are applied to the soil or the plant to improve its health and provide sufficient mineral nutrient elements. Plants obtain three of the essential elements they need for growth – carbon, hydrogen and oxygen – from water and the carbon dioxide in the air.

Program includes 7 rounds of applications (1 per month) of fertilizer/pesticide to provide a healthy and lush lawn.

De-weeding

Weeds are an unwanted grass based plant that could ruin a good lawn. They raise havoc in the cracks of your driveways and on your walkways. They’re a sore eye to your flower beds. Weeds have to be properly removed or treated.

Service includes spraying, treating, and removal of weeds. Depending on the condition of your weeds, services can be done once or several times year round and can be pretreated.
